And the "get over yourself" award goes to….

J.K. Rowling and Scholastic, for this quote, from a contract libraries have to sign before they can get the book:

“We acknowledge and agree that any such violation will cause irreparable harm to Scholastic and the author, J.K. Rowling, and that monetary damages will be inadequate to compensate for violations,”

Because Harry Potter is going to end world hunger and cause the world to sing together in harmony and all.

J.K. Rowling, apparently, wants to “take whatever precautions [she] need[s]” to “preserve a very special moment for children.” I like J.K. Rowling and all, but that’s just silly.
