I was sick yesterday, so, not a great vacation day. Mostly I laid on the couch and read stuff on the big screen TV. I did get Boston Market (meatloaf, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes) for dinner, though- that was good comfort food.
So, Day 3:
Food: Schlotsky’s and some snacks, Nachos for dinner. I wasn’t that hungry today.
Lots of house related chores today- we went to the hardware store several times (as with most of our home projects, we kept buying the wrong things).
We bought mulch for the backyard, plumbing stuff to try and fix the broken outdoor faucets, some edging we’ll need to put in before the 4 tons (!!) of gravel is delivered Thursday, and a new thermostat. Geoff did the plumbing stuff and the thermostat, I have mostly been a lazy bum.
We cut wood for our two projects as well- I’m modifying some shelves for the living room, and we’re making a feral cat house for Monkey and Zipper. Geoff’s original plans will have to be modified- as much as I love the kittens, they’re not getting a veranda or satellite dish. The house will be two stories, though.
What — no post today? Those of us slaving away at work expect to be entertained. Seriously, the network has been down since 9 a.m., so not much work is getting done. I cleaned (you may need to order more cleaning supplies when you get back) and you wouldn’t believe how thick the dust was (or you may) ICK!
